Common questions
How do I size a dog costume?
Measure your dog’s neck, chest at the widest point, and back length from collar to tail base, then check those against the size chart on the product page. Chest is the measurement that most often decides the size.
Is it safe to leave a costume on?
Only while you’re there to watch. Costumes should never be worn unsupervised, at night, or during rough play, and you should take it off straight away if your dog freezes, paws at it or tries to back out of it.
How do I know my dog is happy in it?
A relaxed dog still moves, sniffs and wags normally. Ears pinned back, a low tail, lip-licking or refusing to walk all mean the costume comes off — plenty of dogs would rather have a themed bandana or collar instead.
