How to measure

Back length: measure along the spine from the base of the neck (collar area) to the base of the tail.
Chest: measure around the widest part of the ribcage, behind the front legs.
If the two measurements suggest different sizes, choose by back length and allow for the chest.

Full description

Fancy dress for pets works best when it is light, quick to put on and quick to take off again, and this set is built along those lines. It is a pink and white striped nurse outfit, made up of a ruffled apron bib with a heartbeat motif embroidered across it, and a matching little cap that fastens under the chin so it stays put long enough for the photograph.

The whole thing is polyester, so it is thin, holds its shape and washes without fuss. The cap is the part that usually defeats a pet costume, and that chin strap is the reason this one stays on rather than being shaken off in the first five seconds. It arrives in a plain bag rather than a box. Three sizes are made, S, M and L, and it is cut to suit cats and small dogs alike.
