How to measure
- Wrap a soft tape around the base of the neck.
- Add room for two fingers between the tape and the neck.

Full description
Most festive pet outfits are designed around a photograph and forget the animal inside them. A cape is the more sensible shape: it drapes over the shoulders instead of wrapping the belly or trapping the legs, so a cat can still walk normally, sit down properly and shrug its way out if it decides it has had quite enough of Christmas for one evening.
The outer is a tartan print, the collar is trimmed with soft faux fur, and a pom-pom fastens it at the throat. The whole garment weighs between 26 and 76 grams depending on size, and that lightness is the only reason it works on cats at all, since anything heavier and most of them lie flat and refuse to move. Several patterns are made across five sizes.
