Size guide & how to measure

Pet coats and jumpers are sized mainly by back length, with chest girth as a second check. Back length matters most for coverage.

How to measure

Back length: measure along the spine from the base of the neck (collar area) to the base of the tail.
Chest: measure around the widest part of the ribcage, behind the front legs.
If the two measurements suggest different sizes, choose by back length and allow for the chest.

Full description

Some dogs will not tolerate a costume over their body and there is no arguing them into one. Wings solve that by sitting across the shoulders and clipping over a harness they already wear, so nothing new goes round the chest, nothing covers the legs, and the whole lot comes off in a second once your dog has decided they have had enough of Halloween. That escape route is the feature, not an afterthought.

They attach to the harness rather than replacing it, which is the right way round. The harness is still doing the work of holding your dog, and the wings are decoration hanging off it. Three sizes, in black, with nothing to tighten anywhere. Because there is no strap round the belly or under the front legs, a dog who resents clothing will usually accept wings far more readily than a full outfit pulled over the head.
