Burns dog food

Burns built its reputation on recipes with one named meat protein and a higher proportion of fibre, typically from brown rice, than many mainstream dry foods carry. That combination is aimed at dogs whose skin or digestion reacts to richer, more varied recipes.

That does not make it the right food for every dog — a single-protein, higher-fibre recipe suits a dog who needs exactly that, and a dog with no such sensitivity may simply do just as well on a more conventional food. What matters is whether the specific recipe fits your dog, rather than the brand's reputation on its own.

Our range includes the Burns Adult/Senior Dog Original Chicken & Brown Rice recipe, a complete dry food built around a single named protein for adult and senior dogs. We stock a selection from the wider Burns range rather than the whole catalogue, and what is shown above is what is currently available to order.

This is a brand worth considering for a dog with a known sensitive stomach or skin condition, or simply an owner who prefers a simpler, single-protein ingredient list. As with any food, introduce it gradually alongside what your dog already eats, and speak to your vet if you are managing a specific condition.
