Full description

An assistance dog can't simply be swapped off a food that doesn't suit it and left to work out a new normal on the job, so having a protein already proven to agree with the dog matters more here than it does for a pet with an easier schedule.

This is Burns' lamb version of the Alert Assistance recipe: brown rice and dried lamb form the base, with salmon oil, green tea extract and blueberry extract added for antioxidant support, and vitamin E raised well above Burns' everyday level. It's a complete food aimed at dogs whose work asks for steady focus rather than raw mileage.

The protein is lamb rather than chicken (Dried Lamb 22% against Brown Rice 58%) - the added antioxidants and the raised vitamin E level are the same in both.

What's the protein and fat content?

Does it contain fish as well as lamb?
