A "sensitive" food is only as useful as its ingredient list is short, and it's worth checking that list closely rather than trusting the name on the front — which is exactly what's worth doing here, because this one isn't quite as single-minded as "Duck & Potato" suggests.

Duck meal (39%) and potato (34%) do form the bulk of the recipe, with buckwheat providing further carbohydrate, but chicken liver also appears in the composition alongside duck fat and salmon oil. It's built for cats with digestive and food sensitivities, and comes in at 30% protein and 14% fat.

• Duck meal 39%, potato 34%, buckwheat 15%, plus duck fat, chicken liver and salmon oil
• Also contains chicken liver, despite the "Duck & Potato" name
• Protein 30%, fat 14%, crude fibre 3%, crude ash 8%
• Grain-free (buckwheat is a pseudocereal, not a true cereal grain)
• Formulated for adult and senior cats
• 1.5KG bag

A word on the name. If your cat has a confirmed sensitivity to chicken specifically, this recipe is not chicken-free — chicken liver appears in the composition alongside the named duck. "Duck & Potato" describes the main ingredients, not an exhaustive one.

Who it's for: owners of an adult or senior cat with a general digestive sensitivity looking for a grain-free option, but not specifically for a cat that must avoid chicken in any form.
