Product description

A complete wet food built on white fish, for dogs that do better away from the usual red meats — and for owners who have worked out that a protein swap is often the first thing to try when a food is not agreeing with a dog.

White fish is 26% of the recipe, carrots 25% and brown rice 13%, with salmon oil at 1%, minerals and sunflower oil making up the rest. The salmon oil is the notable addition here: the lamb and turkey recipes in the same range do not carry it.

White fish 26%, carrots 25%, brown rice 13%
Salmon oil 1%, minerals, sunflower oil
Analysis: protein 5%, fat 2%, fibre 0.4%, ash 1.5%, moisture 77%
A complete food, so it needs nothing added
150g and 395g sizes

On fat. At 2% this is the leanest of the three recipes in the range, which is useful for a dog watching its weight and worth noting if you are feeding a dog that needs the calories rather than fewer of them.

Who it's for: owners of adult dogs looking for a fish-led wet food, particularly as an alternative protein for a dog that struggles with chicken or beef.

Why we chose it

Fish-led wet foods are far less common than chicken or beef, and an alternative protein is usually the first thing a vet suggests trying when a dog is not getting on with its food. The salmon oil sets it apart from the other recipes in the same range.
