A recipe built to cut calories still has to earn its place at dinner, so it helps that this one leans on ingredients doing more than one job - kale and goji berries aren't just filler vegetables, they carry their own vitamin content too.

This is a complete wet food built around turkey as the main ingredient, with squash, kale and goji berries also named, formatted here as a 150G foil rather than a can. At 85 kcal per 100g, it's the same lowest-calorie recipe Lily's Kitchen also make in a larger can format.

• Complete wet food for adult dogs
• Turkey (50%) is the largest named ingredient
• Squash (8%), kale (4%) and goji berries (1%) also named
• Crude protein 10.4%, crude fat 4%, crude fibre 0.6%, crude ash 2.5%, moisture 80%
• 85 kcal per 100g
• 150G foil

On the format: this is the foil-pouch version of the recipe rather than the tinned can Lily's Kitchen also sell it in - the composition and calorie count are the same, but the pack size here is smaller, which matters if you're portioning for a smaller dog or want to open a fresh one more often rather than store leftovers from a can.

Who it's for: owners managing a smaller dog's weight, or anyone who'd rather open a single-serve foil each mealtime than store part of an opened can.
