A little guidance

Choosing no-pull dog harnesses

Why a harness beats a collar for walks

A harness takes pressure off your dog’s neck and windpipe, which matters most for pullers, flat-faced breeds and small dogs with delicate throats.

Front-clip designs gently turn your dog back towards you when they pull, making loose-lead walking easier to teach without any harshness.

Getting the fit right

You should be able to slide two fingers under any strap. Too loose and a determined dog can back out; too tight and it rubs.

Measure the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, and check it against the size guide on each product page.

Everything here is chosen to be genuinely useful in everyday life with your pet — quality-checked, fairly priced and shipped tracked across the UK. For any health concern, your vet is always the best first port of call.

Common questions

Will a no-pull harness stop my dog pulling?

It makes pulling less rewarding and gives you better control, which helps a lot — but it works best alongside a bit of loose-lead training rather than on its own.

How do I measure my dog for a harness?

Measure the chest girth just behind the front legs, and the neck where a collar would sit. Compare to the size chart on the product page and size up if between sizes.

Is a harness suitable for puppies?

Yes — a soft, adjustable harness is gentle on a growing puppy. Just re-check the fit regularly as they grow.
