Size guide & how to measure

Harnesses are sized by the chest (girth) — the measurement around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.

How to measure

Stand your pet up squarely.
Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Keep two fingers under the tape so the fit is snug, not tight.
If your pet is between sizes, choose the larger one.

Full description

No-pull is a phrase used loosely right across the harness market, so it is worth being clear about what it does and does not mean. A harness cannot stop a dog pulling. What a well-made one does is take the force off the throat and spread it across the chest and shoulders, so that pulling stops being dangerous for your dog while you get on with the training that genuinely solves it.

Truelove build this one in a breathable cotton fabric rather than the usual nylon webbing, which sits softer against a short coat and is less inclined to chafe behind the front legs over a long walk. Adjustable straps let you set the fit properly rather than settling for near enough, and the floral print, offered in navy blazer and saxony blue, makes a change from the black tactical look that most harnesses default to. Cotton does hold water longer than a synthetic, and that is the trade for the comfort.
