Full description
A dog that pulls on the lead is being steered from the wrong end - a collar or back-clip harness lets the full weight of the pull go straight forward, which is exactly the direction the dog wants to go.
This harness clips at the front, on the chest, so a pulling dog is turned back toward the handler rather than helped forward. It's made from durable, lightweight nylon webbing with neoprene padding for comfort and high-quality chrome connection rings and clips, and a strong clip on the front attaches to the dog's own collar for extra security on the lead.
- Front-clip design, steering from the chest and shoulders

- Not recommended for dogs below 9 months old
- Sold in Small, Medium and Large
On sizing. Halti give the size range as Small, Medium and Large without printing the chest measurements as text on this listing - order against the photo captions on the product page rather than guessing from your dog's weight alone, and note it isn't recommended for dogs under 9 months old or for continuous, unsupervised wear.
Who it's for: owners of a dog over 9 months old that pulls on the lead, who want to redirect that pull from the chest rather than train it out with a headcollar.

Common questions
How is this different from a back-clip harness?
The lead clips at the front, on the chest, so a pulling dog is steered back toward the handler rather than helped forward as it would be with a back clip.
What age is it suitable from?
It's not recommended for dogs below 9 months old.
Can I leave it on my dog all day?
No - headcollars, harnesses and muzzles generally shouldn't be left on for long periods of continuous wear, and dogs shouldn't be left unattended while wearing one.
What sizes does it come in?
Small, Medium and Large.
Does it work with a normal lead?
Yes, and Halti specifically recommend pairing it with the Halti Training Lead for extra control.

As soon as your order is dispatched we email you a tracking link, so you can follow it all the way to your door.

Why we chose it
A front clip is the mechanical fix for pulling, not a training promise - it changes the physics of the pull rather than relying on the dog learning anything first. Pairing it with the Halti Training Lead, as the manufacturer suggests, is worth doing from day one rather than after the harness alone hasn't fully solved it.
