Full description
A harness bought a size too small digs in on every pull, and one bought too large simply slips — which is why a proper girth measurement matters more than guessing from a dog's breed or weight.
Ancol's padded harness is made from poly-weave webbing with micro-fleece padding for comfort, fully adjustable, and finished with a reflective band for visibility. This is the XXL size, fitting a 97-130cm girth; Ancol make the same harness in small (36-42cm), medium (41-53cm), large (52-71cm) and extra-large (70-98cm) too.
- XXL size: 97-130cm girth
- Poly-weave webbing construction
- Micro-fleece padding
- Reflective band
- Fully adjustable
- Also made in S (36-42cm), M (41-53cm), L (52-71cm) and XL (70-98cm)
One thing worth knowing. 97-130cm is a wide range for one size, so measure your dog's actual girth with a tape rather than assuming XXL by breed — a dog at the bottom of that range may sit more securely in the XL instead.
Who it's for: owners of a very large dog whose girth measures 97-130cm, wanting the padding and adjustability of Ancol's range at the top of the size chart.

Why we chose it
Ancol publish the full size chart across all five sizes, which makes it far easier to check you're ordering the right one rather than guessing from XXL alone. Micro-fleece padding on a harness this size matters, because a poorly padded harness on a big, strong dog does more damage on every pull.
