Autarky dog food

Autarky's recipes cover a fairly wide span, from standard adult dry food to grain-free formulas, plus a working-dog line aimed at dogs with a higher activity level than the average pet. The Autarky Adult Tasty White Fish & Potato Grain Free recipe is an example within the range, built around fish rather than a red meat protein and without grain in the ingredient list.

A working-dog formula is built for a genuinely active dog - one out working most days, not simply a dog who enjoys a long walk - and feeding it to a far less active dog without adjusting the amount can mean more calories than that dog needs. Match the formula to the dog's actual activity level rather than the label alone.

Our range includes the fish and grain-free formula alongside other recipes from the wider Autarky range. We stock a selection rather than the whole catalogue, and what's shown in the grid above is what's currently available to order.

This suits owners wanting a straightforward complete dry food with some choice of protein and grain-free options, including those with a working or very active dog, rather than those looking for a raw or wet-only diet.

Switching between recipes within the same brand, such as moving a less active dog off a working formula and onto a standard adult one, is worth doing gradually in the same way as switching brands entirely, rather than assuming a change within one range needs no transition at all.
