Lamb often gets picked as the alternative protein for a dog that isn't doing well on chicken, but "lamb" on the front of a wet food rarely means lamb and nothing else - what else went into the tray still matters.

This tray is built on freshly prepared lamb at 66% of the recipe, but fish oil and sunflower oil are also in the composition, alongside dried peas, carrot and potato, and a run of herbs - rosemary, parsley, oregano and thyme - each at 0.1%. Glucosamine and chondroitin are both included too, at 0.004% and 0.002% respectively. It's a grain-free complete food for adult working dogs.
