Most dogs decide whether they're going to eat before the bowl even reaches the floor, and a chicken tray that smells like actual meat rather than baked kibble tends to win that vote outright.

This is Autarky's grain-free wet range, built on freshly prepared chicken at 66% of the recipe, with small amounts of dried peas, carrot and potato, and a run of herbs - rosemary, parsley, oregano and thyme - each included at 0.1%. Glucosamine and chondroitin are both listed too, though at 0.004% and 0.002% of the recipe respectively. It's described as a complete grain-free food for adult working dogs.

• Freshly prepared chicken 66%
• Protein 10%, fat 7.5%, ash 2.5%, fibre 0.5%, moisture 75%
• Grain-free complete food for adult working dogs
• Rosemary, parsley, oregano and thyme each at 0.1%
• Glucosamine (0.004%) and chondroitin (0.002%) included
• 12 x 395g trays

On the joint-support additions. Glucosamine and chondroitin are both listed, but at 0.004% and 0.002% of the recipe - genuinely tiny inclusions next to the 66% chicken. Worth buying this for the meat content and grain-free formulation rather than expecting a meaningful joint supplement from it.

Who it's for: owners of adult dogs who want a grain-free wet food with a high fresh-meat percentage, and multi-dog or larger households that get through a 12-tray case rather than restocking single pouches.
