Pedigree dog food

Pedigree sits firmly in the everyday, widely available part of the market, sold in supermarkets and pet shops across the country. It is not positioned as a premium or specialist brand — its strength is being a familiar, accessible name that most dog owners already know.

What sets it apart from many everyday brands is the breadth of the range. Rather than making one product type, Pedigree covers wet meals, dry biscuits and dental chews, which means it can turn up in several different parts of a shop rather than just one aisle.

Our range includes wet meals such as the Vitality+ Mixed Chunks in Gravy multipack, biscuits and treats including Biscrok Gravy Bones and Markies Original, and dental chews such as the Dentastix Daily range. We stock a selection across these formats rather than the whole Pedigree catalogue.

What is shown in the grid above is what we currently have available to order, drawn from wet food, biscuits and dental care rather than any one part of the range on its own.

Pedigree tends to suit owners who want a familiar, everyday brand across more than one type of product — a wet meal for dinner and a dental chew or biscuit treat alongside it, say — rather than a single specialist formula.

As with any brand, the right choice for your dog still comes down to their own age, size and any known sensitivities. A biscuit or dental chew is a treat and a supplement to a meal, not a replacement for it.
