Full description

Young dogs can be keen chewers, yet an age limit on an edible dental stick cannot be skipped.

The practical format here is a dental chew; nutritionally, the label identifies it as complementary food rather than a complete meal. The first named ingredient group is cereals, with Derivatives of Vegetable Origin, Minerals (including Sodium Tripolyphosphate 2.55%), Meat and Animal Derivatives (including Dried Chicken Liver Powder 2.16% appearing after it. Protein is 7.5%, fat 1.3%, inorganic matter 5% and crude fibre 0.2%, with moisture at 17%. The composition identifies dried chicken liver powder and its chicken equivalent. Preservatives, vitamin E, zinc and chicken flavour are listed in the additives declaration. The consumer pack is marked as 7 sticks.

Why we chose it

The small-dog sizing and age restriction are the details I want an owner to see early. A daily chew is only useful when those limits fit the dog.
