Full description

Small dogs use less food per day, making the lower end of a feeding table particularly important.

The label classifies PEDIGREE COMPLETE Adult Small Dog Dry Poultry and Vegetables 3kg as complete. The small-dog recipe leads with cereals and includes 4% poultry, 3% dried beet pulp and 0.4% sodium tripolyphosphate. A 0.7% dried pea-and-carrot mix is stated as equivalent to 4%. Protein is 20%, fat 9%, crude fibre 2.3%, inorganic matter 7%. The additives section separately declares nutritional vitamins and minerals. As complete food, it can occupy the main-meal role. Its instructions still require treat calories to be allowed for, portions to be adjusted to the dog and fresh water to be supplied.
