Full description

A beef recipe can still contain more than beef, which is why the full meat declaration belongs near the product name.

Here the customer is choosing wet dog food, with a complete food stated on the label. This complete wet food in gravy contains a mix of 2% beef and 4% liver. Cereals, minerals, vegetable protein extracts and 0.5% dried beet pulp are also listed, and the composition describes it as 95% natural. The analysis gives protein at 7%, fat at 4.2%, crude fibre at 0.5% and moisture at 80.8%, with inorganic matter at 2%. The label separately declares nutritional vitamins and minerals. It also says to account for calories from treats and to keep fresh water available.

Beef is part of a beef-and-liver mix. The label gives daily amounts from 375–425g for a 5kg dog through 1800–2000g for a 40kg dog. It says about 25g dry can replace 100g wet; adjust to the dog, serve at room temperature and chill surplus for up to 2 days.

Who it's for: dogs whose owners want complete beef-and-liver wet food in gravy with a full daily table.

Why we chose it

The beef-and-liver wording matters more than the shorter beef name. I want that composition beside the complete-food status and daily feeding table.
