Full description

Puppies change quickly enough that a feeding table must be readable before it can be useful.

For food status, Pedigree Puppy Wet Dog Food Pouches Mixed Selection in Jelly 12pk is complete. The puppy recipes are beef-and-liver with rice, chicken and rice, lamb-and-liver with rice, and poultry with rice. Named meats and pork liver are quantified within chunks, and cooked-rice equivalent is 4%. Protein is 8.5%, fat 5.7%, crude fibre 0.4%, inorganic matter 2.2% and moisture 81.5%. The additives section separately declares nutritional vitamins and minerals. This complete food is designed for the main diet. The printed amounts are guidelines, with treats included in the calculation, the portion adjusted to the animal and water always available.

The feeding table is malformed. The printed puppy table contains duplicated and malformed age-and-weight rows, so those figures should not be relied on here. The usable instructions say to adjust by age, size and activity, divide food across the day, and treat one pouch as replaceable by about 25g dry.

Who it's for: puppies whose owners can use general label instructions while the broken table is reviewed.

Why we chose it

The recipe detail is strong enough to keep this puppy assortment useful despite its broken feeding table. I would stock it with that limitation clearly flagged.
