A working dog burns through a bag of food faster than a companion dog of the same size, so the ingredient percentages matter more per week, not only per bag.

Salmon makes up 35% of this recipe in total — 20% dried, 14% fresh Scottish salmon and 1% salmon stock — matched by an equal 35% sweet potato. A small superfoods blend sits at 0.1% of the total, with blueberry and seaweed each specified at 0.01% within it.

On the 'superfoods'. The superfoods blend is only 0.1% of the recipe in total, and only blueberry and seaweed are individually specified within it, each at 0.01% — a genuinely small addition rather than a headline ingredient, whatever the name on the packaging suggests.

Who it's for: owners of an adult or senior working dog wanting a grain-free, salmon-led food with sweet potato in equal measure, rather than one built primarily around meat meal and cereal.
