Full description

The reason a dog ends up on a fish-and-potato food is almost never that it likes fish. It is that something else disagreed with it, and fish and potato is where a vet's list of less-usual proteins tends to start. By the time an owner is reading this kind of label, they have generally read a few others first.

This is Arden Grange's sensitive recipe in its senior and light version, and it is a complete food. Ocean white fish is 28% — 23% dried and 5% fresh — with sweet potato at another 28% and potato at 16%, then beet pulp, chicken oil, fish digest, whole linseed at 2%, dried krill, yeast and whole dried egg at 1%. On top of that sit the extras Arden Grange declare by weight rather than mention in passing: glucosamine and MSM at 740mg/kg each, chondroitin sulphate at 520mg/kg, prebiotic FOS at 1050mg/kg and MOS at 465mg/kg, plus dried rosehips at 230mg/kg and blueberries at 150mg/kg.
