Felix
Felix is one of the most recognisable everyday wet cat food brands on UK shelves, built around small pouches and cans in jelly or gravy rather than a premium or prescription line. We stock a selection across the range, from the standard adult pouches to the senior and treat side of it, as one of the everyday options alongside the bigger and smaller names either side of it.
What Felix is, and what it is not
Felix sits firmly in the mainstream, everyday part of the wet cat food market. Its recipes are built around small, single-meal pouches or tins in a jelly or gravy sauce, designed for a cat who eats little and often rather than one large meal, and the range covers a wide spread of flavours and formats to keep a fussy eater interested.
It is not a specialist, grain-free or prescription food, and it does not claim to be. That is not a criticism — a food does not need to be premium-priced to be a reasonable everyday choice — but it does mean Felix is a poor fit for a cat with a diagnosed condition needing a specific therapeutic diet, which should come from your vet rather than the supermarket shelf.
What we stock, and who it suits
Our range includes core adult wet pouches such as Felix As Good As It Looks in tuna, plus the senior line for cats seven and over and a selection of Felix treats. We stock a selection from the wider Felix range rather than every recipe it makes, and what is shown in the grid above is what is currently available to order.
Felix tends to suit an owner feeding an otherwise healthy cat who wants variety and a low cost per meal, rather than someone managing a specific health condition or chasing a single-protein hypoallergenic recipe. As with any change of food, introduce a new pouch or flavour gradually and watch how your cat's appetite and stools settle.

Common questions
- Is Felix a good brand of cat food?
- Felix is a widely available, everyday wet food brand rather than a premium or therapeutic one, and plenty of cats do perfectly well on it as part of a varied diet. Whether a particular pouch suits your cat comes down to their age, any sensitivities and how they take to the flavour, the same as with any food.
- Does Giddy Pets stock the whole Felix range?
- No, we stock a selection rather than every recipe Felix makes, focused on the core adult pouches, the senior line and a few treats. What is shown in the grid above reflects what we currently have available to order, and that changes a little as stock does.
- Can kittens eat Felix?
- Standard Felix adult pouches are not formulated for a kitten's higher energy and nutrient needs, so they are not a substitute for a proper kitten food. Check the label of any specific product for the age range it is intended for, and ask your vet if you are choosing a first food for a young kitten.
- My cat won't eat their usual Felix flavour any more — what should I do?
- Cats can genuinely go off a flavour they previously liked, so trying a different one in the range is a reasonable first step. If your cat stops eating altogether, seems unwell, or loses weight, that is a reason to see your vet rather than simply working through more flavours.
