Some cats will eat the same meal every day for a year and some will strike after two nights running — there is no telling which cat you have got until the second bowl goes untouched. A mixed selection is the practical hedge against the second kind.

This box holds four recipes: beef, chicken, salmon and tuna, each sliced meat or fish served in jelly. FELIX name the meat or fish content at 14% within each recipe's chunks, with the headline ingredient — beef, chicken, salmon or tuna — making up 14% of that chunk content. It is formulated as a complete wet meal on its own, and FELIX also give a dual-feeding option alongside a dry food.

• 12 pouches per box, 80g each
• Four recipes: beef, chicken, salmon, tuna, all in jelly
• Complete wet food for adult cats
• Moisture 83%, protein 9.5%, fat content 3.4%
• Can be fed alone or alongside a dry complete food

One thing worth knowing. FELIX's chunk figures describe what is inside the jelly, not the pouch as a whole, and the label does not break the remaining "meat and animal derivatives" down by species beyond that named 14%. If you are choosing this because your cat has a single confirmed intolerance, that is not enough detail to rule an ingredient in or out with certainty.

Who it's for: a cat that likes to rotate flavours, or an owner who would rather buy one box than remember which single-flavour multipack is nearly finished.
