Most fish recipes name one fish and let the rest of the tin do the work quietly. This range does the opposite: every recipe is named for two fish at once, in equal amounts, so the pairing is the point rather than an afterthought.

The four recipes — saithe and salmon, herring and trout, cod and tuna, salmon and mackerel — each carry their two named fish at 2% apiece, inside a recipe where "meat and animal derivatives" and general fish content make up the rest, served in jelly for adult cats.

On the pairing. Both named fish in each recipe sit at 2% — so "salmon and mackerel", for example, is 2% salmon and 2% mackerel, with the bulk of the recipe made up of unspecified meat and fish derivatives. Naming two ingredients does not mean more of either one is in the pouch.
