Full description

Fish is the flavour most cats will eat right up to old age even when other preferences have gone, which makes a fish-led senior range a reasonable thing to keep in stock rather than a niche one.

This box holds four fish recipes — trout, sardine, tuna and salmon — each with a chunkier bite than FELIX's standard jelly pouches, chunky pieces making up 40% of the recipe. The named fish sits at 4% of each recipe, and the feeding amount is sized for cats aged 7 and over.

12 pouches per box, 85g each
Four recipes: trout, sardine, tuna, salmon, all in jelly
Chunky pieces make up 40% of each pouch
For senior cats aged 7 and over
Moisture 80%, protein 12%, fat content 3%

On the composition. The named fish is 4% of the recipe; the remaining "meat and animal derivatives" and "fish and fish derivatives" that make up the chunk and the jelly base are not broken down by species on the card supplied to us.

Who it's for: an older cat that has always preferred fish, and an owner who wants a chunkier senior option than FELIX's standard jelly range.

Why we chose it

A fish-only senior box fills a specific gap. It suits cats that have gone off meat as they've aged, which is common enough to be worth a dedicated line rather than telling that customer to pick out the fish pouches from a mixed box themselves.
