Fleasolve reviews

We don't run a customer review system, so this isn't a page of star ratings. Here is what the Fleasolve spot-on range actually is, and what to check carefully before you buy any flea treatment for a dog or a cat.

What we can tell you, honestly

We should say plainly upfront: we don't currently collect or publish customer reviews on our shop, so a page titled "Fleasolve reviews" cannot honestly promise star ratings or testimonials, and we are not going to invent any. What we can give you instead is a straight description of what the range is and what to check before choosing it.

Fleasolve is a spot-on flea treatment range, applied to the skin at the back of the neck, with separate formulations for dogs and for cats. Spot-on treatments like this work by distributing an active ingredient across the skin's surface, and different products in this category target fleas, and sometimes other parasites, in different ways.

What to check before using any spot-on treatment

Always use a product formulated for the correct species — a treatment made for dogs should never be applied to a cat, even in a reduced amount, and vice versa, since some ingredients that are safe for one species can be genuinely dangerous for the other. Check the pack carefully for the intended species and weight range before applying anything.

Read the full instructions on the packaging every time, rather than assuming you remember them from a previous purchase, and follow the guidance given rather than any dosage figure from another source. If your dog or cat has a reaction after treatment — excessive scratching at the application site, lethargy, or any sign of being unwell — contact a vet promptly and keep the packaging to hand, since it tells them exactly what was used.

Common questions

Do you have customer reviews for Fleasolve products?
No, we don't currently run a review or ratings system on our shop, so we can't point you to Fleasolve-specific customer feedback here. We can tell you what the range is and what to check before buying, which is what this page covers.
Is Fleasolve the same as Frontline or other spot-on brands?
It is a different brand with its own specific formulations, though it works on the same general spot-on principle as other flea treatments in this category. Always check the active ingredients and instructions on the specific product you are considering rather than assuming different brands are interchangeable.
Can I use a dog Fleasolve product on my cat?
No. Products formulated for dogs should never be used on cats, and the reverse is also true, since some ingredients safe for one species can be seriously harmful to the other. Always check the packaging is for the correct species before applying anything.
What should I do if my pet reacts badly to a spot-on flea treatment?
Contact a vet promptly, and keep the product packaging to hand so they can see exactly what was used. Do not apply anything further while you wait to speak to someone.
