What we stock

Getting the right part
Check the model printed on your filter itself, or on the box it came in, before ordering a replacement part, since Fluval's foam pads and cartridges are numbered per model rather than sold as one universal size. If you are not sure which model you have, a filter's dimensions and how the media sits inside it are usually enough to match it against the listing.
Replacing filter media on a schedule rather than waiting until it looks visibly dirty keeps a filter working properly, since a clogged pad restricts water flow before it becomes obviously discoloured.
Feeding alongside filtration
Fluval's Bug Bites granules come in formulas for tropical fish and for goldfish, sized and balanced differently for each, so it is worth picking the version matched to your fish rather than assuming one granule suits every tank. Overfeeding is a more common problem than underfeeding in a home aquarium, and uneaten food breaks down and adds to the load your filter has to deal with.
