Specifications

Brand: Supa

Full description

The gap between an aquarium's water and its lighting hood is smaller than it looks, and it's exactly the gap that condensation likes to sit in, right next to the electrics.

Supa's Condensation Tray is a physical barrier fitted between the aquarium water and the electrical fittings in the tank hood, sized at 48". It's designed with two grommets built in, and fish can still be fed through it without removing the cover.

Fish can be fed without removing the cover
Part of a range also sold at 18", 24", 30" and 36"

What's not confirmed. Supa haven't given us the tray's material or its exact depth, so we can't say how it fits every hood design — check it against your own tank's dimensions rather than assuming a universal fit at 48".

Who it's for: owners of a 48" aquarium who want a proper barrier between water and electrics rather than relying on the hood alone, and who'd rather feed through the tray than lift the whole cover each time.

Why we chose it

Electrics and water sitting close together is the kind of risk that's easy to ignore until something fails, so a dedicated barrier is worth the small outlay. Being able to feed through it without removing the cover is a genuine convenience rather than an afterthought.
