A community tank of small tropical fish often has a real spread of mouth sizes in the same water, and a microgranule rather than a standard granule is built with the smaller end of that range in mind.

Fluval build this one around Black Soldier Fly Larvae, at up to 38% the largest single ingredient — a higher proportion than their goldfish formula — with whole salmon added for omega 3 and 6. It's a slow-sinking microgranule, sized 1.4-2.0mm, fortified with vitamins, amino acids and minerals, and processed in small batches in Canada with no artificial fillers, colours or preservatives.
