A flea treatment sized wrong for a dog is worse than no treatment at all — under-dosed and it doesn't work properly, over-dosed and you've paid for protection the dog didn't need — which is why this range is split by weight band rather than sold as one size fits all.

FleaSolve's Spot On range uses Fipronil, applied via pipette using the standard spot-on method, against fleas and ticks, including Ixodes Ricinus, the species that can transmit Lyme disease. This page covers the family across large, medium and small dog packs; the large dog pack specifically contains 268mg of Fipronil and is intended for dogs weighing between 20kg and 40kg, giving four weeks of protection per application.

On choosing the right size. This family covers three dog-size bands; the 268mg dose and 20-40kg weight range above apply specifically to the large dog pack. The medium and small packs are dosed to match a lighter dog, but the exact figures for those aren't listed on this card, so weigh your dog and check the pack you're sent matches before applying it.

Who it's for: owners of a large dog between 20kg and 40kg needing a monthly, vet-strength Fipronil spot-on that also covers ticks — and anyone with a medium or small dog who checks their own pack's labelling for the matching dose.
