Buying in bulk only makes sense once you already know a cat likes something, which is why the larger box of a range usually appears after the smaller one has already proven itself with a particular cat.

This 40-pouch box carries the same four recipes as FELIX's smaller senior chunk range — beef, salmon, chicken and tuna — with chunky pieces making up 40-44% of each pouch and the named meat or fish at 4% (8% for chicken), served in jelly for cats aged 7 and over.

• 40 pouches per box, 85g each
• Four recipes: beef, salmon, chicken, tuna, all in jelly
• Chunky pieces make up 40-44% of the pouch, depending on recipe
• For senior cats aged 7 and over
• Moisture 80%, protein 12%, fat content 3%

On the naming. The named meat or fish is 4% of the recipe (8% for chicken); the rest of the "meat and animal derivatives" that make up the chunk and jelly is not identified by species. Buying the 40-pouch box is a stocking-up decision, not a different recipe from the smaller one.

Who it's for: an owner who already knows their senior cat eats this range happily and wants to buy it in bulk rather than restocking a smaller box every couple of weeks.
