A plush toy that just sits there tends to stop getting picked up within a week for most dogs, which is the thinking behind toys sold as scented rather than just soft — it gives the nose something to check even when the toy isn't moving.

This is a frog-shaped plush toy from Guru's Scents range, sold in a Medium size. The name points to a berry-type scent as part of that range, though the maker doesn't spell out exactly what that means in practice or how the scent is applied. Beyond the shape, the range name and the size, no further detail is supplied for this listing.

What the makers don't tell us. No material, stuffing, dimensions or squeaker information is supplied for this toy — only the name, shape and size. There's nothing here to confirm what the scent actually is or how long it's meant to last, and no washing or supervision guidance either. Treat any soft plush toy as one for supervised play rather than something left with a determined chewer.

Who it's for: owners looking for a scented plush toy to add variety to the toy box, in a Medium size, for dogs that play gently rather than tear a toy apart.
