Full description
A toy that only makes noise stops holding a dog's attention the moment the novelty of the sound wears off.
The Hide-A-Tail Alligator uses the same mechanism as the rest of Guru's range: the tail tucks inside the toy to form a ball, giving the dog something to work at rather than a toy that just squeaks and sits there. Treats can be hidden inside, and it's built with two layers of fabric to take that kind of handling.
- Puzzle plush: tail tucks in to form a ball for the dog to solve
- Treats can be hidden inside for extra engagement
- Two layers of fabric
- Squeaks and crinkles
- Available in Medium and Large
- Alligator design, part of the Hide-A-Tail range
On the size gap. This page covers the Medium and Large Hide-A-Tail Alligator, and Guru haven't given us measurements for either beyond the size code, so there's nothing here to compare the two sizes against directly.
Who it's for: dogs that lose interest in plain squeaky toys quickly, and owners who like hiding treats inside to stretch out solo playtime.

Why we chose it
An alligator is a slightly different shape to chew and carry than the cow or shark in the same range, which is reason enough to stock more than one animal. Two layers of fabric is a sensible minimum for something built to be pulled apart deliberately.
