A senior dog moved onto wet food doesn't need a more complicated recipe than the one it was already eating dry — turkey and rice here, rather than a new protein to introduce at the same time as a change in texture.

Turkey makes up 72% of the meaty chunk, alongside a mix of white and brown rice, carrots and peas, plus glucosamine added by fermentation. It is a complete food for senior dogs, and James Wellbeloved's stated approach across the range is to exclude beef, pork, soya, eggs, dairy and wheat.

• Complete wet food for senior dogs, turkey named as 72% of the meaty chunk
• Protein 5.0%, fat 4.0%, crude ash 1.5%, crude fibre 0.80%
• Glucosamine by fermentation (0.02%) included
• Omega-6 at 1.0%
• Contains rice — not a grain-free recipe
• 90G pouches

On the small addition. Glucosamine by fermentation is included here at 0.02%, the same joint-support addition James Wellbeloved use across their senior wet range. It's a genuinely small quantity — worth having in an older dog's diet, but not something likely to visibly change mobility on its own within weeks. James Wellbeloved don't state what share of this pouch is chunk versus gravy, only that turkey is 72% of the chunk itself.

Who it's for: senior dogs already settled on turkey who are moving to wet food for easier eating, where the glucosamine is a welcome extra rather than the main reason to buy it.
