A senior dog on a grain-free diet still benefits from the same joint-support additions as any other senior recipe, and this pouch carries both at once rather than asking an owner to choose between them.

Turkey makes up 71% of the meaty chunk, which James Wellbeloved state is typically 42% of the whole pouch, alongside pea starch, dried potatoes and glucosamine added by fermentation. It is a complete grain-free food for senior dogs, excluding beef, pork, soya, eggs, dairy and wheat.

• Complete grain-free wet food for senior dogs, turkey named as 71% of the meaty chunk
• Chunk is typically 42% of the pouch
• Protein 6.0%, fat 4.2%, crude ash 1.6%, crude fibre 0.80%
• Glucosamine by fermentation (0.02%) included
• No rice — uses pea starch and dried potatoes instead
• 90G pouches

On the two percentages. Turkey at 71% describes its share of the meaty chunk, and the chunk itself is typically 42% of the whole pouch — two separate figures, so the pouch is not 71% turkey outright. It's worth working through both before assuming how much actual meat is in front of your dog.

Who it's for: senior dogs on a grain-free diet who would also benefit from a joint-support additive, rather than needing the two as separate purchases.
