Full description

A plain squeaky toy relies entirely on sound to hold a dog's attention, and pairing that noise with a scent gives a dog a second reason to keep coming back to it once the novelty of the squeak has worn off.

The Soft Scents Dog is Guru's vanilla-scented answer to that, built from two layers of durable fabric around a ChewPro-reinforced squeaker infused with the scent itself. The idea is a toy that engages a dog's nose and ears together, satisfying for both shaking and gentle carrying between play sessions.

Two layers of durable fabric construction
ChewPro-reinforced squeaker
Vanilla scent built into the squeaker
Medium size
Suited to tugging and carrying alike

One thing worth knowing. "Durable" and "reinforced" describe the build, but there's no chew-toughness rating or fabric weight given, so for a strong, determined chewer we'd treat this as a supervised soft toy rather than something safe to leave unattended.

Who it's for: dogs that enjoy scented plush toys for supervised tug and carry play, and owners who've found their dog responds well to a vanilla scent over other options.

Why we chose it

The reinforced squeaker is the part that usually gives out first on a cheaper plush toy, so building that up properly is worth more than another scent option on its own. Vanilla is also a milder, less divisive scent than some of the others in this range, which suits a wider range of dogs.
