Full description

A squeaky toy earns its keep by how long the squeak survives, and most plush toys lose that fight within the first determined session.

Guru's Soft Scents Monkey is built from two layers of durable fabric around a ChewPro-reinforced squeaker infused with a banana scent, aimed at combining sensory enrichment with the crinkle and squeak most dogs go straight for. It's the medium size.

What's not confirmed. Guru haven't given us a length or weight for this toy, or a washing instruction, so we can't tell you exactly how it compares in size to another plush toy or how to clean it once it's had some use — it's built for enthusiastic play, but it's still a soft toy rather than an indestructible chew, so supervise a determined chewer.

Who it's for: dogs that enjoy plush, squeaky toys and owners who want a scent element beyond a plain squeak — and puppies or gentle chewers rather than dogs that destroy soft toys in minutes.

Why we chose it

The reinforced squeaker is the part that matters here, since a squeaker that dies in the first ten minutes is the most common complaint about plush toys. The banana scent is a genuine point of difference from a plain squeaky toy, and Guru's two-layer fabric gives it a bit more resilience than a single-layer plush.
