Devon Rex

The Devon Rex has a very short, soft, wavy coat caused by a natural genetic mutation, giving it a curly, almost suede-like texture. Even the whiskers are often short and crinkled. The coat can be fine and sparse in places. Combined with large ears and big eyes, this distinctive curly coat gives the breed its famously elfin, pixie-like look.

Devon Rex cats are lively, mischievous and highly people-oriented. They are intelligent, playful and often described as dog-like, enjoying games, learning tricks and following their owners around.
