Full description
Kittens learn where to scratch in their first few months, and they learn it by returning to the same spot. A plain post in a corner often gets ignored because nothing draws them to it. This one is built to be visited: there is something to bat, something to chase and two posts to climb, all on one base.
The base is wood, 38cm long and 19cm wide, and the whole thing stands 41.5cm tall. Two posts are wrapped in sisal rope, the shorter one topped with a sisal mushroom cap. Around the base runs a two-level track holding two catnip balls and four wooden balls that roll but do not come out. Two pom-poms hang from the top of the tall post and a feather stands on a spring at one end. Anti-slip pads are included for the underside.
- Two sisal-wrapped posts on a wooden base
- 41.5cm tall, base 38 x 19cm
- Two-level ball track with six balls
- Two hanging pom-poms and a spring feather
- Anti-slip pads included
- Simple self-assembly
On size: At 41.5cm this is a kitten and small-cat post. A full-grown cat cannot stretch out fully against it, so for a large adult it works as a toy with scratching surfaces rather than as its main scratching post. Feathers and pom-poms are also the first thing a determined cat removes, so expect those to wear out before the posts do.
Who it's for: Kittens learning where scratching is allowed, small and young cats who like to bat and chase, and indoor cats who need something to do while you are out.

Common questions
How big is it?
It stands 41.5cm tall on a wooden base 38cm long and 19cm wide. That makes it a good height for kittens and smaller cats.
Is it tall enough for an adult cat?
An adult cat will use it, but cannot stretch to full height against it. For a large adult we would pair it with a taller post or a wall scratcher and treat this as the play station.
Do the balls come out of the track?
No. The balls roll around the two-level track but are held in by the rim, so they do not end up under the furniture.
Does it slide on hard floors?
Anti-slip pads are included to stick to the underside. On laminate or tile we would use them, because a light post that skids away teaches a cat not to bother with it.
How long does delivery take?
Your estimated delivery date is shown above and updates automatically. UK orders are sent tracked — standard delivery is £2.99, and free on orders over £39.

As soon as your order is dispatched we email you a tracking link, so you can follow it all the way to your door.
What is it made from?
Sisal rope, wood. Full specifications are listed above.

Why we chose it
A scratching post gets used for ten seconds at a time. Putting a ball track and a feather on the same base gives a kitten a reason to keep coming back to it, and a post a cat visits often is a post it scratches.
