Brand: Hem & Boo
Material: Soft plush fabric body with gentle stuffing; crinkle material in the tentacles for sound

Full description

A soft toy that stays silent rarely holds a dog's interest for long, which is why building the crinkle sound directly into the tentacles rather than the body makes it something a dog keeps coming back to shake.

Hemm & Boo's Crinkle Octopus is a soft plush toy with gentle stuffing, standing at approximately 12 inches (30cm), sold as an assorted item across Blue, Green, Orange and Pink. It's built for indoor comfort play, cuddling and resting rather than heavy chewing, and suits small to medium dogs.

Soft plush fabric body with gentle stuffing
Crinkle material built into the tentacles
Designed for indoor play, cuddling and resting, not chewing
Suits small to medium dogs
Sold assorted, in Blue, Green, Orange or Pink

On the colour. This is sold as an assorted toy, so the colour you receive isn't something you can choose at checkout — you may get any one of Blue, Green, Orange or Pink. It's also explicitly not recommended for aggressive chewers; Hemm & Boo describe it as intended for comfort-seeking play instead.

Who it's for: small to medium dogs who enjoy a soft, noisy comfort toy for cuddling and gentle play, not dogs that destroy soft toys quickly.

Why we chose it

The crinkle sound sitting in the tentacles rather than a single squeaker in the body means there's something to hear from more than one part of the toy, which keeps a gentle player interested longer. It's an honest soft toy, not marketed as anything tougher than it is.
