Full description

A dog that likes to 'kill' its toys — shaking, destuffing, working at the seams — eventually leaves stuffing all over the floor, which is exactly the mess a stuffless design avoids from the outset.

This is a stuffless plush toy with a squeaker, meaning there's no filling inside the body to pull out, and a rubber ball built into the head for extra bite feedback. Hemm & Boo make this Small size at 13 inches (33cm).

Small size: 13" (33cm)
Stuffless body — no filling to pull out
Rubber ball built into the head
Squeaker included
High-quality plush materials

One thing worth knowing. 'Stuffless' solves the mess problem, not the durability one — Hemm & Boo suggest it suits gentle older dogs or a young dog that likes to work a toy over, but they publish no specific chew-resistance rating, so a determined destroyer can still get through the fabric itself.

Who it's for: a dog that enjoys shaking and working at a toy without leaving stuffing everywhere afterwards, and gentler or older dogs particularly, per Hemm & Boo's own suggestion.

Why we chose it

The stuffless design is a genuinely practical answer to the mess a lot of plush toys leave behind once a dog gets into them properly. The rubber ball in the head adds a bit more for a dog to bite down on than a flat squeaker alone.
