A small dog's mouth and stomach are both smaller than a large breed's, which is the entire justification for a smaller kibble size — it isn't a marketing distinction so much as a physical one.

Harringtons build this on '26% Lamb and Meat Meals', of which only 6.5% is specifically named as dried lamb, alongside rice at 21%, maize, barley, maize protein, poultry fat and freshly prepared chicken at 4%. It analyses at 25% protein, 12% fat, 2.5% fibre and 8.5% ash, with omega-6 at 2.2% and omega-3 at 0.5%.

• Smaller kibble sized for small dogs
• 26% Lamb and Meat Meals, of which 6.5% named dried lamb
• Freshly prepared chicken at 4%
• Protein 25%, fat 12%
• Crude fibre 2.5%, crude ash 8.5%
• 1KG bag

A note on the name. The '26% Lamb and Meat Meals' figure covers more than lamb — only 6.5 percentage points of it is specifically dried lamb, and there's also 4% freshly prepared chicken elsewhere in the list. If you're avoiding chicken, check that 4% first.

Who it's for: owners of a small-breed dog who want a smaller kibble size, rather than someone specifically avoiding all meat but lamb.
