Dog No-Marking Training Spray

Marking indoors is not really a toileting problem, which is why it survives house-training. A dog marking a table leg is leaving a message, and the reason it keeps happening in the same three places is that the message is still there for them to top up. Breaking the loop means removing the smell and making the spot less attractive to return to, and a deterrent spray handles the second half of that job.

It goes onto furniture, walls and the usual problem corners from a 150ml pump bottle, which gives you a targeted spray rather than a mist over the whole room. Used on its own it will not fix anything. Used alongside a proper enzyme clean of the existing marks and consistent interruption when you catch your dog in the act, it removes the invitation while the training does the actual work. Test it on a hidden patch of any fabric first.

Be realistic about this. Deterrent sprays vary enormously from dog to dog, and a dog who has started marking suddenly may have a urinary infection or be reacting to a change at home, both of which are worth ruling out before you buy anything.
