A dog with a sensitive gut or itchy skin is often put on a wheat-free diet as a first step, since wheat gluten is one of the more common triggers vets look at before moving to a full elimination diet.

Bestpets Low and Easy is made from cereals, meat and animal derivatives, oils and fats, minerals and vitamins, and fish and fish derivatives, with EC-permitted antioxidants. Analysis gives 20% crude protein, 7% crude oil, 2.1% crude fibre and 6.8% crude ash. Bestpets describe it as being for dogs with a more sensitive dietary requirement, and as wheat gluten free.
