Full description
A rain coat only earns its keep on the days a walk happens anyway, whatever the weather, and the coats that actually get used are the ones that go on fast and don't fight the harness underneath.
Ancol's Stormguard Softshell is a waterproof shell with a chest protector to help keep dogs clean and dry, an elasticated neck and leg straps for a snugger fit, reflective edging for visibility, and a slot cut for a harness and lead attachment. It's machine washable at 30°C, and Ancol size it from XS through to XXL — XS at 25cm length with a 23-42cm girth, up to XXL at 70cm length with a 58-96cm girth.

On sizing. Ancol give both a length and a girth range for every size, and it's the girth measurement that decides fit far more than length does — measure your dog's girth first and match it to the range rather than guessing from breed or weight, since two dogs the same length can differ a lot around the chest.
Who it's for: owners who walk in most weather and want a coat that goes on over a harness rather than needing the harness removed first.

Why we chose it
The harness slot is the detail that matters most here — a lot of coats at this price make you choose between the coat and the harness, and this one doesn't. Machine washable at 30°C also means it's genuinely a wear-it-every-day coat rather than one that needs careful hand cleaning.
