Hover to zoomSize guide & how to measure
Pet coats and jumpers are sized mainly by back length, with chest girth as a second check. Back length matters most for coverage.
How to measure
- Back length: measure along the spine from the base of the neck (collar area) to the base of the tail.
- Chest: measure around the widest part of the ribcage, behind the front legs.
- If the two measurements suggest different sizes, choose by back length and allow for the chest.
| Size | Typical back length | Typical chest |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 20–25 cm | 30–40 cm |
| S | 25–32 cm | 38–50 cm |
| M | 32–40 cm | 48–62 cm |
| L | 40–50 cm | 60–76 cm |
| XL | 50–60 cm | 74–92 cm |

Full description
Small dogs get cold and stay cold, because they lose heat faster than they can make it and they are closer to the wet ground than anything else on the walk. The awkward part of solving that is that most coats swallow the dog: you can no longer see the collar, the tag, the harness clip or the markings you recognise them by across a park. A transparent coat hides none of it.
The shell is PVC, genuinely waterproof rather than shower resistant, with a hood and adjustable fastenings at both the chest and the waist. Those two adjustments stop a stiff-fabric coat behaving like a sail on a windy walk, and let you fit a deep-chested small dog without buying up a size. The manufacturer publishes a full measurement chart across six sizes, which is unusual at this price.
- Back length by size: XS 18cm, S 22cm, M 27cm, L 32cm, XL 37cm, 2XL 42cm
- Chest by size: XS 22cm, S 28cm, M 31cm, L 40cm, XL 45cm, 2XL 51cm
- Waterproof PVC with a hood
- Adjustable waist and chest
- Manufacturer's weight guide runs 0.5kg at XS to 6.5kg at 2XL
- Colours include green, orange, pink and white
- Allow 1-2cm variance, measurements are taken by hand
On sizing: measure, do not guess, and do not order by weight. Run a tape from the base of the collar to the base of the tail for back length, then round the chest just behind the front legs, and take the size that fits the larger figure. Then read the top of the chart honestly: even the 2XL is a 42cm back and a 51cm chest, so this is a small-breed coat throughout. A cocker or a beagle will not get into it.
Who it's for: chihuahuas, yorkshire terriers, toy poodles, miniature dachshunds, small terriers and puppies, and owners who want to keep an eye on the harness underneath.

Most coats swallow a small dog, so you lose sight of the collar, the tag and the harness clip. A clear shell hides none of it. Sizes run genuinely small: a cocker or beagle will not get into this.
