Most people can name an endangered animal without thinking hard about it - elephants, rhinos, tigers. Fewer would reach for a red panda, which is exactly why putting one on a dog toy does something a more famous animal wouldn't: it introduces the species rather than just reminding you of it.

Rosa is built entirely from recycled materials - the filling and the outer plush fabric are both 100% recycled, made from 11 post-consumer plastic bottles in total. She's part of Ancol's Made From Land Range, which highlights globally endangered land species through the shape of the toy itself.

• Made from 11 post-consumer plastic bottles
• 100% recycled filling and outer plush fabric
• Single size
• Machine washable at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry
• Designed for cuddling and gentle play

On checking for wear. Ancol ask owners to check the toy regularly for signs of wear and remove it immediately if parts come loose or it's damaged, on top of the general note that no plush toy is indestructible. That's worth building into a routine rather than only checking when something looks obviously wrong.

Who it's for: dogs that like a soft toy to carry and cuddle rather than destroy, and owners who like the idea of their dog's toy chest doubling as a small introduction to species they might not otherwise think about.
