Go-Cat feeding guide
Go-Cat prints a feeding table on every bag, based on your cat's weight and life stage, and that table — not a generic figure online — is the right starting point. We can't write you a feeding plan for your specific cat, because that depends on things a pack table doesn't know, like your cat's activity, neuter status and any vet-advised weight target. What follows is how to use the guide properly and what we stock.
How to use the pack guide properly
Weigh your cat rather than guessing, since a kitten-sized estimate applied to an adult cat (or the other way round) throws the whole table off. Go-Cat's guide gives a daily total split across the recommended number of meals, and it's a starting point rather than a fixed rule — a cat who is gaining or losing weight on that amount needs the amount adjusted, not the recipe changed.
If your cat is neutered, older, or mostly indoors, they typically need less than an intact, younger or more active cat of the same weight, and the pack table usually flags this with a separate column or note. If you're unsure which figure applies, or your cat's weight is moving in a direction you didn't expect, that's a conversation for your vet rather than a guess from us.
What we stock from the range
Our Go-Cat range covers adult dry recipes across a few different proteins, along with a kitten formula and an indoor-cat option for cats who get less exercise chasing things outdoors. Each is a complete food, meaning it's formulated to be fed on its own rather than alongside another brand.
We carry a selection from the wider Go-Cat catalogue rather than every recipe the brand makes, and what's shown in the grid above is what's currently available to order. Which one suits your cat comes down to their age and activity level more than any single recipe being objectively "the best".

Common questions
- How much Go-Cat should I feed my cat?
- Follow the daily amount on the pack for your cat's actual weight, split across the number of meals it recommends. Weigh your cat rather than estimating, and treat the figure as a starting point — if their weight starts moving in a direction you didn't expect, adjust the amount and mention it to your vet.
- Is Go-Cat a complete food?
- Yes, the Go-Cat dry recipes we stock are labelled as complete, meaning they're formulated to provide everything an adult cat needs without another food alongside them. Treats and wet food can still be given on top, in moderation, without upsetting that balance.
- Can kittens eat Go-Cat?
- Only the Go-Cat kitten recipe, not the adult formulas, which are balanced differently for a grown cat's needs rather than a kitten's growth. Check the pack for the age range it's designed for before switching a kitten onto any adult food.
- Does Giddy Pets stock every Go-Cat recipe?
- No, we carry a selection from the range rather than the brand's whole catalogue. What's shown in the grid above is what we currently have listed, and that can change as the range and our stock both do.
